Greetings friends of #Hive, I wish you are enjoying good health and have an excellent weekend, I hope to rest and recover energy, after a day of demanding and exhausting work, this is my entry for the weekend engagement topics proposed by @galenkp, and I will answer question number 1:
What is your first childhood memory and why has it stuck with you?.
Childhood is that beautiful stage of life of innocence, where children spend many hours playing and learning, without worries about food, clothes and the series of responsibilities that we acquire when we are adults, sometimes we want to accelerate the process and be great to do “things” that adults do, then when we grow up we long to return to childhood, that beautiful stage where we had fun with our siblings and neighbors, but unfortunately time cannot be returned, that is why living each process and enjoying the different stages of life is essential to achieve an integral growth and development without skipping those beautiful experiences that each period of life offers us.
One of the memories I have from my childhood are the trips that I used to take on vacation with my parents and sisters, my grandmother lived in another state and during school vacations during the months of August and September, although the trip took several hours, it was fun because in addition to visiting our beloved grandmother, it was a great opportunity to get together and play with my cousins and visit the beach, since we lived in an area where there were only many rivers, the beach was in another region of the country, at the end of the school year we were very aware of organizing the trip and bringing everything necessary to visit the beach, on one of these trips I was able to see the immense sea and I saw the starfish for the first time, it was impressive and it scared me a little, but I still continued playing on the seashore with my sisters and family, we also saw many shells with different shapes and collected several of them a bag to take them home, the holidays were my favorite time of the year because we could travel and play with my cousins, also eat the delicious chocolates that my grandmother prepared.
When I have the opportunity to visit the beach, I make the most of it to contemplate the beautiful landscape and enjoy the sea breeze, this reminds me of the many visits I made during my childhood to the beach, it's like going back to that time when I ran and played with my sisters, another fond memory of my childhood is the scent of chocolate, to this day I associate it with my beloved grandmother preparing sweets to pamper her many grandchildren, the smell permeated the house and we knew that soon we would enjoy a delicious treat.
Blessings!

How lovely to have those memories. Childhood is very important, and having those experiences imprinted on your mind is very important... especially the chocolate!
It's true, childhood is a wonderful time when we create fond memories that are treasured with great affection. Visiting grandma, playing with cousins, and swimming at the beach were the best vacations.
Have a great week!
Have a great week too!
Thank you so much 😊🤗
These are truly wonderful childhood memories. I don't know how to express mine through photographs, so I probably won't participate, even though this is the topic I liked the most. Thank you for sharing, Belkys. Beautiful post. Have a great weekend!...
Greetings, Jesús, this is a great topic that takes us back to the beautiful stages of childhood. I think visiting the beach as a child was magical, and maybe that's why I love the beach.
Have a great week!

It's so wonderful to be a child, too bad it goes by so fast, hehe 😂😅 It's fun and nostalgic to remember the beautiful moments of childhood, as the popular saying goes: "To remember is to live."
Best regards!
That's the only lovely memory I've read so far - all the others are trauma-related. A nice read, thank you for sharing!
