Oh the balcony seems the smart way to do it! Yeah late nights on a school night are not fun anymore.
Ddi you make a ttt about him at the Old Opry as the name seems familiar or was that another artist.

Yes, there is a good chance I did. None of these songs though.

That location looks really cool! Really like an old saloon, so very fitting for the music, which is also pretty good! I'm not too much into country, but that voice is indeed very pleasant to hear. Thanks for the hint!

Yes, it was a pretty cool place. I have heard about it before, but experiencing it for the first time was amazing.

It's been a bit since I've been to a concert (I think Chris Stapleton was the last one) but I'm headed here in a few weeks to see Jelly Roll and Post Malone so that should be a fun one. It's not what I would call my "scene" really but I'll admit that watching the crowd can be as much fun as the concert itself for me :D

Chris Stapleton puts on a pretty good show. It's more mellow than some. He just gets up and does his thing and it works well. I wouldn't mind seeing Post Malone, but I am not a fan of Jelly Roll. I think his story is admirable that he turned things around, but the radio overplayed him to the point that I am kind of sick of him.

Never heard of Drake White, but that venue looks really good. The location is historic looking and small enough to have a good sound. There is nothing worse for concerts than big stadiums or large indoor venues. I saw U2 in one of the large indoor structures in Seattle area and it was really disappointing and the sound was terrible.

My wife had the same experience with Bon Jovi at Ford Field in Detroit. She said it was pretty horrible. We are going there to see Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks this Fall. My hope is they figured out how to work the acoustics! This building is quite old. I didn't dig into the history, but I think it has a long one.

What you said is absolutely true and I am glad to hear that you are better than you were yesterday, The experiences when you are young are amazing.❤️🙏

Thank you! It's been a great time so far!

You're welcome my friend, happy to see it ❤️🙏

General admission and standing really would have sucked, nice call on the upgraded seats. Plus you get a good bar and restrooms only for the balcony folks, not too bad! Nice song selection you picked out for him, he has some great songs. The harmonica bandolero was a pretty cool, unlike John Popper of Blues Traveler with his vest of harmonicas. Kind of surprising it wasn't sold out, but I guess country may not be real big in Detroit.

Glad you and the Mrs had a good time, it is getting harder for me too want too go to shows that end late. I must be getting old and crotchety!

We are kind of the same way with the shows. I think the fact that this was on a Sunday night didn't help at all with the attendance and our attitude towards it. Even the crowds in general are getting to be too much. Especially given the mass casualty events. It's always a bit nerve wracking to be in situations like that.

Getting those balcony seats was such a smart move—especially with all the extras like the bar and restroom access. Seeing Drake White perform live after everything he’s been through must’ve made the experience even more special.

It really was a special time and the balcony seats were well worth the upgrade!

You are absolutely right, as you get older, staying up late is not a fun thing, I also feel the same as you, even though I am still 23 years old Hehe.

And this is the first time I have seen Drake White, even though I did not see him directly, but I can feel the sensation through your post

It is really amazing, have a nice day my friend

Thanks! He was really great to see live. He had a lot of energy and was fun to watch. The crowd was singing along for most of the songs and it was awesome. You still have lots of years to go wild. You don't need to start slowing down for another 7 to 17 years! Live it up!

You are absolutely right my friend , I should be able to maximize my youth very well.
That's amazing
