There is coolness in the air and adrenaline is running in the veins like a cheetah runs after its prey. I am saying the word exciting because when a paraglider runs and jumps in the air from the take off site, the word wow comes out of the mouth and the hair on the skin stands up. This is Bir which is famous for paragliding in India as well as in the world.
Bir, situated at 1400 meters, is the pride of Himachal Pradesh and is famous for adventure sports. I have lived here for 4 years and I have seen adventure reaching its peak here every day. Paraglider pilots gathered from the country and the world fly tandem as well as solo. And there are some stunt specialists who fly in the sky only to compete with the eagles.
Some pilots have made adventure their religion, among them an Indian pilot covered a distance of 259.84 km in one fly, this record was made in the month of April this year. So from this record you can guess that from time to time people who like adventure come here and check their limits.
Apart from paragliding, you can see the Dhauladhar mountain range situated here in the photos which is still blessing these adventure lovers by covering it with a blanket of snow. Paragliders fly over this range and reach a maximum height of 4595 meters and enter from one valley to another and from the second to the third valley. Now I am waiting for this record to be broken, which may be broken again this year.
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
