At the start of this movie, I didn't really think it would turn out to be a movie that has 80% of it centred on friendship. I thought it was going to be a revolutionary story, as it started with the British government storming one of the remote rural areas in India and carting away a young girl, Mali, who they found talented because of her singing voice. They beat and threatened the villagers never to come for the girl, but Bheem (N.T. Rama Rao Jr.), one of the strongest men in the village, refused to accept that.

Raju(Ram Charan), on the other hand, after witnessing the British government terrorising his village during his childhood, decided to join the British police force so as to fulfil his late father's last request — to gain unrestricted access to the police armoury, get their guns, and supply them to the villagers so they could fight back against the British government and take revenge.

Raju, in his police duty, took up the task of capturing Bheem, whom the British authorities had heard was an “unkillable” man coming to attack them to rescue the girl they forcefully adopted. This is where the two of them met and became real good friends, without knowing that Bheem was actually the one Raju was assigned to capture.

The Friendship Rating:
Indians are known for their comedy movies too, and the friendship between Raju and Bheem was a fun one to watch. You need to see how the two of them behaved like children by carrying each other playfully and also covering up for each other.

The emotional parts aren't left out because those were the major scenes for me. When Raju found out that the person he had been looking for was Bheem, it was already too late for him to pull back. He needed to capture him in order to be promoted and gain access to the guns. He had chances to kill Bheem, but whenever he wanted to do that, the memories of their good times together would flash through his mind.
The friendship is so strong that even when Raju finally had the opportunity to fulfil his main aim of stealing guns for his village, he gave up that opportunity to save Bheem, which in the end got him almost killed. But he wasn’t pained, because according to him, he would do anything for his friend who had saved his life multiple times.

My Rating:

I watched this movie at the beginning of this year, and I have refused to delete it from my phone because I keep going back to watch those funny moments and the fight scenes.
I would give it a 9/10 rating because every part of it is so interesting to me. The dancing scenes were fun to watch. The fight scenes were done perfectly with the ‘Bollywood’ tricks, which are fun to watch.

The storyline is exceptionally good too, and the way they mixed it up with Indian and English languages is so well done.

Lest I forget, it's an India movie released in 2022. The RRR stand for;
R—Rise
R—Roar
R—Revolt
