Holozing Fan Art - Female Forest Healer in the Saiyan army [ENG-ESP]

Hello dear friends of Holozing, I hope you are all doing well, and wherever you are, that your weekend was great. I want to share with you some fan art I did of the female ocean healer. This time, it occurred to me that she could be a great soldier in the Saiyan army. I've always loved the lore of this race, especially their armor and also the scouter they used to measure the fighting power of their opponents. So, thinking about these details, I started drawing our dear friend dressed in these outfits. I'm sharing the step-by-step process with you. I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero que se encuentren muy bien, y donde quiera que estén, su fin de semana haya sido muy bueno. Quiero compartir con ustedes un fan art que hice de la sanadora del oceano femenina, en esta oportunidad se me ocurrió que podría ser una gran soldado del ejército de los Saiyayin. siempre me gusto el lore de esta raza, especialmentye sus armaduras y también el scouter que utilizaban para medir el poder de pelea de los oponentes. Así que pensando en estos detalles, me puse a dibujar a nuestra querida amiga vestida con estos atuendos, comparto con ustedes el procesos paso a paso, espero les guste.

PROCESS

I sketched it on white cardstock with a 2H drawing pencil. I was planning on doing it in Toriyama's style, but then I followed the traditional anime style. Little by little, starting with the face, then part of the body, adding what I mentioned earlier, like the Saiyan armor and the scouter.

Hice el boceto en cartulina blanca con un lápiz de dibujo 2H, pensaba hacerlo en el estilo de Toriyama pero luego seguí el estilo anime tradicional. Poco a poco comenzando con el rostro, luego parte del cuerpo, agregando lo que dije anteriormente como la armadura saiyayin y el scouter.

Then I begin to color the sketch. Fortunately, with this type of pencil, the lines are only slightly visible, just enough to guide you, and it's easy to erase them later. I begin painting our warrior's skin and also her eyes, which have a defiant look, adding the characteristic green color. I also begin painting part of her hair, also green, of course.

Luego comienzo a darle color al boceto, afortunadamente con esta clase de lápiz las líneas solo se ven poco, lo necesario para guiarse, y es fácil posteriormente borrarlas. Comienzo a pintar la piel de nuestra guerrera y también haciendo los ojos, los cuales tiene una mirada desafiante, voy poniendo el característico color verde. Así también voy pintando parte del cabello, por supuesto también de color verde.

I made her hair short and straight, not wavy, so I used three types of green to create a nice contrast. I also started painting some of her clothes. Since she's a healer, I gave her a cape instead of a tunic.

El cabello lo hice corto y liso, no ondulado, así que utilicé 3 tipos de color verde para poder hacer un buen contraste. También comencé a pintar parte de sus ropajes, como es una sanadora en lugar de túnica le he puesto una capa.

Next, I paint the rest of the armor, like the shoulder guard, which I painted green, so it would reflect the character's essence. I painted the cape I mentioned earlier gray, since the part that's visible to us is shaded. I didn't forget to add details to the scouter.

Seguidamente pinto el resto de la armadura, como el protector de hombros, el cual los he pintado de verde, así sería parte de la esencia del personaje. La capa que había mencionado antes la pinte de gris, ya que la parte que para nosotros es visible se ve sombreada, sin olvidar de agregar detalles al scouter.

Then, to finish shaping it, I used a fine-tipped black marker to draw all the lines around the edges, so it took shape. For the hair, I used a green marker to give it more depth, and of course, the forest emblem on his chest.

Despues para terminar de darle forma, con un marcador negro punta fina le hice todas las líneas de los bordes, así iba tomando forma. Para el cabello utilicé marcador de color verde para darle más profundidad, y por supuesto el emblema del bosque en su pecho

FINAL WORK

What do you think of the design? Our healer is now a Saiyan, but she's fighting for the Forest Crest, hehe. I really like doing this kind of crossover with characters and creatures; the result is always interesting and very fun. I hope you like it. See you soon.
